Painting

Went to site this morning, painters there ,4 of them,,yay,,they are doing the outside today and tomorrow starting the internal spraying,,all of the window frames are painted,,the portico and el fresco are finished,,talking to the guys, they said with no delays  ie not getting pulled off this job , they should b finished by the end of the week,goodo,here are todays pics

Painting Begins

Went to site friday morning, the plumber was there hooking up our rain water tank,but no painters ,,,went to the site friday arvo with hubby, painters have been there, all doors off,all window sills painted and the wet rooms have had a coat as well,so didnt expect that,ceilings havnt been started yet, so Monday must b the day its all going to start happening,hope there is more than 1 painter,,.,hopefully it will only take a week, but who knows,sorry no pics,,not really much to see.

Not much has happened over the past week, chippies came back on monday to finish internals, the cornice guy also came back and finished the bulk head above the kitchen cabinets,,we are waiting for the tiler to come back and finish a couple of added jobs,and we are also waiting on the painters to come and make a start, was suppose to b happening later this week , cant see it though, he is so far behind the current job hes doing , due to lack of ppl,,,meaning there is only one of him,,so no pics today.

Tiling Complete

went to site today, tiler finished,that is until they do under the vanities,,,the portico was rendered today, and the gas line and meter were installed this arvo,,no action on the site now till next week,,here r todays pics

Tiling continues

Productive day,,front porch,feature tiles in both bathrooms,kitchen splashback,laundry splashback,,hoping the white grout in the kitchen looks better then it does now  : all the wall tiles are lined up , ready for tomorrow,,this guy is quick, and a great job to boot,,,our water tank was delivered some time this morning,,here r todays pics

Tiling

First day of actually tiling,the tiler will start the walls on monday,,cant wait to see the splashback done,,,hope the porcelin tiles arnt going to b a pain to keep shiney and clean,,only time will tell  lol here  r todays pics

Tiling Begins

A quick update,tiler started screeding all the wet areas yesterday,finished today,starting tiling tomorrow,,cant wait ,,,the bench top went in this morning,,looks nice,,u cant really see it in the pics,but its white ceaser stone, with water fall both ends,,also the plumber was back today , doing down pipes and fitting of internal plumbing in cupboards,,all together it was a busy day on site,,oh he also installed the bath,,the front porch,will be screed tomorrow and tiled,,the builder due back monday to finish woodwork,then all going well painting late next week,,here r a few pics

Kitchen completed

Went to site this morning,,thought nothing was happening,,but was suprised to see the kitchen complete,with all its handles and the vanities and laundry as well :. Our tiles and sand arrived today as well,,have no idea when they will begin tiling,,here r todays pics

Kitchen Arrives

hubby got a suprise  this arvo,,kitchen cupboards, laundry and vanities + a bath all sitting in the house waiting to b fitted,,it all looks right ,,,thats a good start,,hoping they fit kitchen tomorrow,,if not next week,,,and out wet areas got

Wood work begins

dropped by the site this arvo,,we have workers,,,unfortunately the down side is that we are locked out,,but i suppose being locked out means kitchen stuff can be left there,,,ss said all going well, the kitchen should go in by the end of the week,,mind you the chippies still have a fair bit to get through tomorrow,,,looks totally different having doors,,btw,the front door will b painted white,,not staying green lol,,here r todays pics
