Friday Update

day 5 of bricking completed,,,talked to brickies they said they will b finished on Wednesday,,,weather permitting,,didnt take any pics,,looks the same just the bricks a little higher,,the roof was delivered yesterday at some time and insulation,,all going well, we might see a roof on at the end of next week,,im enjoying all the work being done,cause i know its going to slow right down soon,,, if the brickies do finish on wednesday,that would mean it took them 9 days ,,,great workers and looks tidy..

Day 3 Bricks

These next few post will probably all look the same,,,,but besides being more bricks laid (tomorrow will probably be the last day of bottom bricks, they will be erecting the scaffolding  to do the top half)the safety barrier for the roof was put up today,,,slowly but surely its coming along,,here are todays pics

brick update

well today was the second full day of bricking,,these guys are quick and there workman ship is great as well,,cant wait to see them all cleaned,,,here are a few pics from today

This is a rough idea of what finished product will kinda look like. ..we also changed the kitchen to a

island bench and made kitchen Window intoa door. The el fresco area is twice as big as normal. Also added double french doors to media room. The bricks are pgh expresso. The roof is ironstone color bond. Fascias and garage door are surfmist

This is where we are currently up to. ..ss saids roughly 2 weeks for bricks then insulation and roof. .all going well with weather

Tell u what it doesn't take these guys long to erect a frame. .to b more precise it took 10 hours

in the beginning

Better late than never,,,so here goes,,,hubby and i r building the Allworth Sonoma,,,we wernt even really looking at building in May of last year,,,,we just finished decorating our home,and decided to get it valued,,,so we then  decided to put it on the market,and 3 days later it was sold,,,so June of last year ,we looked at some land at the outlook Fletcher,,2days later we left a deposit,,and wa la,,,we r building,,,our slab went down 10/12/13...here r some pics
