Handover date

Recieved a phone call this morning,,the best phone call eva  lol,,,we have been given our hand over date,,all going well ,,15th of April,,thats right 2 weeks,,one day before our wedding anniversary,,,i asked wayne if it was possible months ago,,,he would just laugh and would say , u will b in before xmas lol,,in saying that,there is so much to b done,painters r still painting,plumbing,electrics,chippiesand tilers to finish the bathrooms,then cleaners,,,alot to do in 2 weeks,,so i go into over drive, booking flooring,blinds and furniture to b done and delivered the day after hand over,,went to site this arvo,,still so much painting still to b done,,they will have to work quick to finish tomorrow,but they r fast and a good job as well,here r todays pics

Yeah cant wait,,just got off the phone then to the ss, all the tradies will b there from tuesday next week finishing off, i just did a quick calculation of the amount of time they have spent building it,,14 weeks in total,,2 weeks before xmas and 12 till hand over date,,,has ur kitchen turned up yet?

  3. 14 weeks is pretty good! It will be five months since ours started this Friday so you are definitely faster. The kitchen arrived today! I am beside myself with relief right now :) Just popped some photos on the blog.

Just checked out ur blogg,,definately worth the wait,,u have more vision than i, i went very basic with every thing,,i really didnt put that much thought into the design,,,i just kept it simple so it shouldnt date that much,,,well thats my excuse lol,,,wont b long now:-) and thank you ryan and samantha,,ur day will come soon :-)

  7. Thanks Ann :) Looking at everyone else's colours has made me worry I was too bold with ours. It has been so much fun doing something different though and we will be living in the house for a lonnnnng time so I figured we'd just go for it.

    You can't go wrong with neutral, plus you can add colour with your furnishings if you want a change. There's every chance I'll be looking at my yellow splashback and feeling like I'm in a time warp in years to come haha!

Thats right with adding colour, we have red pendant lights above the island and dining table, and red accesories in living areas,,thats enough for me,,,we plan on only staying in this one for 10 years, then retiring to something alot smaller near some water,,,,i cant wait to see everyones finished :-)
