Internals begin
Busy day at the site today,,we had the sparkies,blumbers and ducted a/c guys all in at the same time,,very harmonious,,,ducted done,electrics done,plumber will b back when baths and internal stuff due to b done, to do the down pipes,,,but all the internal pipes are done ,,,,insulation due to b done on monday,then gyp rocking begins tuesday,,they were going to do insulation this week , but our sight gets pretty windy,so they will wait , till the gyprock is ready to be done, here are todays pics

Hi ya,,thats funny cause thats what i do with cameron,,its nice to have some sort of idea of what happens and when,,but all builds are different and do things in different order,,,what r u guys building?
ReplyDeleteWe started off with the plans for the harmony entertainer but completely changed it, added an extra bedroom, increased the size of the house and also changed the lounge, kitchen and dining layout. We had our frames put up today which was very exciting! Where abouts are you building at? Are you allowed into your site at any time?
ReplyDeleteHarmony is a lovely home as well, we're building at fletcher newcastle, no not allowed on site, but when no one there, we pop in for a sticky lol..frames are exciting to see go up, better than looking at a slab of concrete

ReplyDeleteInsulation tmro, gibrock Friday, locked up Monday... Is that rite on your block.
No,,,they have layed all the ducting in the ceiling,,after handover they come back and put vents in the all the ceilings and hook everthing up to the motor in the ceiling,,,, no, insulation on monday and gyprock tuesday,,,only a site clean up left to do this week,,i dare say nothing will happen on friday,,,theyve done everything all ready this week,,these guys are quick,,and always keen to give advice or explain what they are doing,,cant praise them enough :-)

Not sure prices but will recieve credit for a few things,,we ended up with having more piering so we have to pay extra,,couldnt tell u how much though,,,yes i think all ur cabinetry will b next for u,,the plumber thinks we will have handover in 4 weeks,,,,not real sure how accurate he is,,,hes probably only guessing, with what has to happen next,,,,,
