update

just called at the block,cornice ppl working , they said they will finish tomorrow,,very suprised to see ppl working on a week end,,poor things,,,,but they said its their choice to work then ,,,went to a sale this morning,got all our lighting done,,,saved mega bucks,,unbelievable,,,,if paid full price would have cost $2,500 our price was$270 for the lot,,quite a saving i say,,,plus i couldnt say no to the entry pendant,,it was $750.00 we paid $50,00,,so i had to take a pic to show every body,,my bit of bling

Gyprock set

the gyprockers came back yesterday to finish off setting the sheets,,was hoping the cornices would start today but no ,,no work on site today,,here r todays pics,and one photo of the view from my kitchen door,,it will never b built out,,its conservation land yay,,,well thats what we were told

Gyprock sheets complete

Went to the site this morning, sheeting completed,next week cornices and sanding should begin,,and all going well we might be locked out by the end of the week,,i suppose it means ur one step closer to moving in ,,even though not really knowing whats going on behind closed doors will kill me lol,,here are today's pics

Gyprocking continues

today was the first full day of gyprocking, i cant believe how quick they are, we can finally see the rooms and the sizes, we changed one of the bedrooms to make it bigger,happy with the size now,,here are todays pics

Gyprock Begins

Ducked around to the site this arvo, to see if the gyprock was delivered,and was pleasantly suprised,the site had just finished being cleaned up,ie no rubbish in the front yard any more, and to our suprise gyprockers were there laying the sheets in our wet areas, wasnt expecting that , especially when the ss said yesterday they wouldnt start till tomorrow,,spoke to them , they said they will b finished  friday,then cornices will start on monday,,,sorry no pics ,,big storm was about to hit

Insulation begins

right on schedule,insulation began today, didnt finish,but hoping they will b back tomorrow,,gyprock was suppose to start tomorrow,none on sight,so we will see,,one cant start till the other one finished here r todays  pics

Internals begin

Busy day at the site today,,we had the sparkies,blumbers and ducted a/c guys all in at the same time,,very harmonious,,,ducted done,electrics done,plumber will b back when baths and internal stuff due to b done, to do the down pipes,,,but all the internal pipes are done ,,,,insulation  due to b done on monday,then gyp rocking begins tuesday,,they were going to do insulation  this week , but our sight gets pretty windy,so they will wait , till the gyprock is ready to be done, here are todays pics

We have eaves

went to sight this arvo,,the eaves are done and the inside of the house has been tidied, and we have our fittings for our pocket doors installed  in master bed room,,here r todays pics

Bricks all clean

bricks  came up nice,,will look even better when portico bagged and painted,,,,i hope,,eaves and internal doors and some kind of wood work left today,,,eaves may go up tomorrow,,,fingers crissed,,,today pics

we have a roof

yesterday the brickies finished up,,today the roofers were there , will finish up tomorrow morning,,these guys certainly work quickly,,getting an idea of how it will look at the end, it felt weird walking in with the roof on for the first time,here r todays pics

Roof Completed

roof finished,,whirlys in,insulation in roof,safety barrier gone,,yay,,i spoke to the ss today,its all happening next week. Monday -eaves , Tuesday - plumbing ,Wednesday -electrics and bricks cleaned,Thursday -ducted a/c , Friday -site clean up,Monday -insulation,,then have to wait for gyp rockers,,cant complain about progress,,very happy with the way its looking, cant wait for the front to b rendered,,here r todays pics

gutters and fascias

The gutters and fascias arrived on the morning of the 23 rd and were put up the same morning. The bricks arrived the day before the 22nd they also started laying them the same day as the guttering. ..oh the Windows arrived on the Friday morning and were installed the same morning,,,we didnt even get a chance to see them before they were installed.
