Landscaping update

And so landscaping begins,,cant say im a big fan of hard manual labour lol,,,those blocks sure are heavy,not to mention all those barrow loads of rocks,on the upside our new lounge arrived,and actually fits,,the inside just about there,,,here r a few pics 

Landscaping update

Not really much change outside, we have had the site levelled and cut, ready for retaining,bought the bricks last week,waiting on delivery,we r tiling the elfresco area,went and picked them up today,concreter will b back to  colour and seal the driveway and paths,we have put 2 concrete pads on the block ,one for a garden shed and the other for our caravan,and then the fun begins laying retaining blocks,,thought we bought a fairly level block,,well we did untill they start cutting here and filling there,,not much to show but here r todays pics

Moving in update

Well its been a little while since my last entry,lots has happened, all the concrete for driveway, paths,garden shed and extra el fresco area has been poured and now extremely muddy,,thanks weather,,lol,air con been installed, fire installed,hubby busy with all lighting and fans,,getting there,shutters installed,still waiting on new lounges,they will arrive on saturday,,we just stuck the old one in the lounge for now,,but it is nice to finally have a seat to sit on, after all the months of just walking around in it lol,,i had the most fun decorating my grand childrens room,they slept over last week and love it yay,,here r a few pics

MOVING IN

Well all I can say is that I'm not a big fan of moving. ..keys Tuesday. Flooring , appliances installed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday big move , also yesterday shutters installed, but I do love waking up here. .haven't had much time to do photos for blogg, so I just nipped around then and took a couple

Handover

Today was the day, weve been waiting for,,,,didnt sleep much last night,,too excited,handover went with out a hitch,,only a couple of things need to b looked at, but everything else is all good,,hubby spent the day in the ceiling doing some of our lights and i spent the day assembling flat pack cupboards for the walk in robe,,,Our site supervisor was great,,he will even pop in for a cuppa in a couple of weeks,,thats a pic of wayne after he gave me the keys,,,here r todays pics

Handover tomorrow

Dont think i will do much sleeping tonight,,so many things going through my head,,house got its final clean on saturday, the silicone man came today and done his thing, makes the wet areas look heaps tidier, the site got a clean up today , no rubbish every where,fencing will come down tomorrow morning and hopefully the fly screens will b in stalled as well,,9am is handover,,i actually only realised yesterday that they havnt installed the intercom,and the wiring hasnt been done either for it,,,so i dont like my chances that it will b done before handover,,i can live with that though,,,it sure is going to b nice walking through the front door, instead of climbing through windows,,,will upload some pics tomorrow :

Handles

Door handles , bathroom bling and most of the electrics done today,,sparkies will b back tomorrow to finish,then site clean up friday,,might get the keys this week ,the choice was offered to us, but i think we will keep it at tuesday,,,gives me more of a chance to get organised,,,cant believe i said no,,,,i think i was in shock,,,:
